      To replace a failed drive in your QNAP storage system, access QuTS hero, then navigate to 'Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage > Disks/VJBOD'. Find the failed drive. Ensure you have a replacement drive with equal or greater capacity. Physically remove the failed drive from the NAS, wait about 20 seconds (or until you hear two beeps), remove the drive from the tray, insert the new drive into the tray, install the new drive, and then check that the status shows 'Rebuilding'.
