To access the PartitionsSummary page, on the Partitions page, click the Summary tab (see Figure 142
below).

Tasks
Use the PartitionsSummary page to perform the following tasks:
l View information about existing VTL partitions (see Partition List below).
l Add a new VTL partition to the system (see Adding a VTL Partition on the next page).
l Edit properties for an existing VTL partition (see Partitions on the previous page).
l Delete a VTL partition from the system (see Partitions on the previous page).
l Change the mode of a partition (see Changing Partition Mode on page 229).
PartitionList
The PartitionList section displays the following information for all VTL partitions on the DXi6900:
AvailablePartitions The number of partitions that have been added to the system and the maximum
number of partitions that can be added.
AvailableVirtualTape
Drives
The number of virtual tape drives that have been added to the system and the
maximum number of drives that can be added.
