1. Check for battery voltage at the hand
control using a Multimeter. Connect the Multimeter
between the two outside pins (fig 4.1.1), pin 1 is
positive (+), pin 2 is negative (-). Note: Positive is
on the right.
2. If battery voltage is present, replace the
following components in this order:
a. Cables
b. Hand control
c. Control module. Refer to Control Module
Replacement section of this manual.
d. Retest as necessary.
3. Verify that the bus cables are correctly
mated between the hand control and the control
module (fig 4.2).
Note: This connector is mated incorrectly.
The connectors are designed to visually
indicate when they are not mated correctly.
If yellow is showing between the halves (A),
push them closer together until only black is
visible. Retest as necessary.
