5. Disconnect the power connector from the
control module, and use a Multimeter to check
for battery voltage at the connector (fig4.2.2). If
voltage is present, replace the control module.
Retest as necessary.
Note: The power connector is the larger 2-pin
connector between the left and right motor
cable.
6. Manually tilt the seat back and remove the
shroud from the base. Refer to Battery Removal
section of this manual.
7. Disconnect the batteries (fig 4.2.3).

4. Disconnect the joystick harness (bus cable) from
the controller. Use a Multimeter to test voltage at
the positive (+ red) and negative (- black)
ports in the controller module ( g. 4.2.1). If voltage
is present, replace the following components in
this order:
a. Harness
b. Joystick
If voltage is NOT present please proceed to step
5.
