Spreader application higher on
one side than the other.
Hopper empties unevenly du-
ring normal spreading.
Fertiliser bridging above the
agitator
 Remove fertiliser until the
height of the protective grid
on the affected side.
 Break up accumulated fer-
tiliser with a wooden stick
through the bars of the pro-
tective grid.
Outlet blocked
 See blockages of the mete-
ring openings
Metering slide set incorrectly
 Empty the hopper of remai-
ning fertiliser.
 Check metering slide set-
ting. Refer to the chapter
on maintenance
Defective agitator
 Remove fertiliser until the
height of the protective grid
on the affected side.
 Open the metering slide
and break up accumulated
fertiliser with a wooden
stick through the bars of
the protective grid so that
the remaining fertiliser can
run out of the outlet.
