Irregular fertiliser feed to
spreading disc
Fertiliser bridging above the
agitator
Remove fertiliser until the
height of the protective grid
on the affected side.
Break up accumulated fer-
tiliser with a wooden stick
through the bars of the pro-
tective grid.
Outlet blocked
See blockages of the mete-
ring openings
Defective agitator
Remove fertiliser until the
height of the protective grid
on the affected side.
Open the metering slide
and break up accumulated
fertiliser with a wooden
stick through the bars of
the protective grid so that
the remaining fertiliser can
run out of the outlet.
Check the functionality of
the agitator drive. See
chapter 10.8: Checking the
agitator drive, page 119.
Spreading discs are fluttering.
Check cap nuts for tight fit
and check threads.
Metering slide does not open
Metering slides do not
move easily.
Check for smooth mo-
vement of the slide, the le-
ver and the joints, and
improve if necessary.
Check the extension
spring.
The reducing plate at the
hose connection of the
plug-in connector is conta-
minated.
Clean the reducing plate at
the hose connection of the
plug-in connector.
The metering slide opens too
slowly.
Clean the restrictor plate.
Replace the 0.7mm restric-
tor plate with a 1.0mm res-
trictor plate. The plate is
located at the hose
connection of the plug-in
connector.
Agitator not working. The agitator drive is defective.
