10.7.3 Application rate adjustments
Example for calculating the application rate:
Two rows are to be spread.
The distance between both of these rows is 3 m.
This means that the effective working width is 6 m (passage through each
second tramline).
However, as there is no information about the machine setting for a working width
of 6 m in the fertiliser chart, it is recommended to take the setting values from the
fertiliser chart for a working width of 12 m.
If you want to spread 200 kg/ha with a working width of 6 m, you must take the
setting values for a 12 m working width from the fertiliser chart and adjust the me-
tering slide settings for 100 kg/ha.
