Danger of injury due to the incorrect process in setting the
application rate
The stop lever is tensioned by a return spring. In the event of mis-
use or non-observance of the procedure for setting the application
rate, the stop lever can snap back forcefully and unexpectedly to
the end of the guide slot.
This can lead to injuries to the fingers or face.
Never push against the spring pressure by hand to hold the
stop lever in position when setting the quantity.
Be sure to observe the procedure for adjusting the
application rate.
