Whenyouchangethedatumforyourmultifunction
display,thechartgridwillsubsequentlymove
accordingtothenewdatum,andthelatitude/
longitudeofthecartographicfeatureswillalso
changeaccordingly.Yourmultifunctiondisplay
willattempttosetupanyGPSreceivertothenew
datum,asfollows:
•TheinternalGPSreceiverwillautomatically
correlateeachtimeyouchangethedatum.
•IfyouhaveaRaymarineGPSreceiverusing
SeaTalkorSeaTalk
ng
,itwillautomatically
correlateeachtimeyouchangethedatumon
themultifunctiondisplay.
•IfyouhaveaRaymarineGPSreceiverusing
NMEA0183,orathird-partyGPSreceiver,you
mustcorrelateitseparately.
Itmaybepossibletouseyourmultifunction
displaytocorrelateanNMEA0183GPSreceiver.
FromthehomescreengotoSet-up>System
settings>GPSSet-up>ViewSatelliteStatus.
Ifthedatumversionisdisplayed,itmaybe
possibletochangeit.Fromthehomescreengo
toSet-up>Systemsettings>DataSources>
GPSDatum.
Note:Raymarinerecommendsthatyou
checkthedisplayedvesselpositioninthechart
applicationagainstyouractualproximitytoa
knownchartedobject.AtypicalGPShasan
accuracyofbetween5and15m.
