Relativemotion.

Theselectedmotionmodeisdisplayedinthestatus
bar.ThedefaultsettingisRelativeMotionwithno
offset.
RelativeMotion(RM)withoptionalVesselOffset
WhenthemotionmodeissettoRelative,the
positionofyourvesselisxedonthescreenand
allthetargetsmoverelativetothevessel.Youcan
specifywhetherthevesselisxedinthecenterof
thewindow,partiallyoffsetorfullyoffsettoincrease
theviewahead,asshownbelow:

Thedefaultmotionmodeis“Relative”,withcenter
offset.
TrueMotion(TM)
WhenthemotionmodeissettoTrue,xed
radartargetsmaintainaconstantpositionand
movingvessels(includingyourvessel)travelintrue
perspectivetoeachotherandtoxedlandmasseson
thescreen.Asthevessel’spositionapproachesthe
edgeofthescreen,theradarpictureisautomatically
resettorevealtheareaahead.
Note:Ifheadingandpositiondatabecome
unavailablewhenTruemotionisselected,a
warningmessagewillbeshown,themodewill
reverttorelativemotionandbenotedinthestatus
barinbrackets,forexample,(TM).
Note:ItisnotpossibletoselectTrueMotionwhen
theorientationissettoHeadUp.
