Inexceptionalcircumstances,duetotheproximity
ofcertainelectronicequipmentthatmaybeonthe
vesselthetouchscreenmaybecomeunresponsive
duetoelectricalinterference.
Intheunlikelyeventofthisoccurringtheinterference
canbesuppressedbyaddingagroundingstrap(not
supplied)totherearcaseofthemultifunctiondisplay.
Thegroundingstrapshouldbeconnectedtothe
vessel’sRFgroundpoint,orwherenogroundpoint
existstothenegativeterminalofthevessel’spower
supply.Theminimumrecommendedcablethickness
tobeusedforthegroundingstrapis14AWG.
Note:OnagS95thegroundingpointsarethe
sameholesusedforthemountingbracketsecuring
bolts.
