EASY TURN TECHNOLOGY
Allows lateral tilt and / or patient rotation, one or both sides. Easy to activate by opening the yellow valves
located on both sides of the mattress replacement (at the side of legs).
• Lateral tilt - to achieve lateral tilt, activate static mode, CLP (constant low pressure) (principle
described on page14) or full inflation mode (principle described on page 14), and then turn the
desired EasyTurn Technology valve to the CLOSE position. The mattress on this side will rise to the
tilt position. To end the lateral tilt, set the valve to the OPEN position.
In order to facilitate patient care, change of bedding etc. the full inflation mode should be started
(rule described on page 14) before starting Easy Turn Technology. When finished, set the desired
operating mode and pressure again.
• Patient rotation - to achieve the patient rotation effect, activate pressure alternating mode (see
page14), and then turn the desired Easy Turn Technology valve to the CLOSE position. By opening
the valve on one side of the mattress we get one-sided rotation. To activate the alternate rotation
on both sides, turn the valves on both sides of the mattress to the CLOSE positions. To complete the
patient rotation process, set the valve (-s) to OPEN.
CAUTION: Easy Turn Technology can only be used on beds with the side rails to protect the
patient from falling off the bed. When using Easy Turn Technology, you must:
• raise the bed rails
• disable the Auto Set function and set the pressure inside the mattress manually (described on
page 15)
• lay the mattress flat (lower the headrest or other parts of the bed, etc.)
CAUTION: Ensure that the yellow Easy Turn Technology valves are correctly set in the
OPEN or CLOSE position and do not leave the valve knob in a position between these positions
as this may disturb the mattress operation.
