8.3 Gantry machine configuration
For systems integrating two sets of SRP to
be mechanically preloaded, the direction of
the preload (internal or external sides of the
teeth) is not critical.
However, we strongly recommend setting
the preload on both sides of the gantry in the
same direction.
The following pictures show the direction of preload depending on motors direction of rotation.
