Engine Hatch
The engine hatch is controlled by a
cockpit switch panel. The system uses
an actuator to lift the hatch which is
located in the sump. To lift or lower the
hatch energize and hold the momentary
switch. When the hatch reaches a
complete open or closed position it will
begin to ratchet. At this point release the switch.
Always monitor the hatch operation as all body parts need to be kept
away from the hatch. Periodically check the actuator where it connects
to the hatch hardware. Look for excessive wear and any loose hardware.
