Prepare your lancing device.

Wash your hands using warm
soapy water and dry them
completely.

Remove the test strip from its
foil packet.

Insert the three black lines at the
end of the test strip into the strip
port.

• Before you monitor your blood glucose, allow your
monitor and test strip to reach the recommended
operating temperature range of the test strip. The
test strip operating temperature range is in the
"Limitations of Procedure" section of the blood
glucose test strip instructions for use.
• Read the lancing device instructions for use.
