a Turn the crankshaft two turns clockwise (timing end)
using the old crankshaft accessories pulley bolt and
its spacer until the hole (35) of the camshaft pulley
hub is opposite the hole (36) in the cylinder head:
-screw tool (Mot. 1489) into the cylinder block,
-turn the crankshaft clockwise (timing end) smoothly
using the old crankshaft accessories pulley bolt
and its spacer, until the crankshaft comes into con-
tact with the (Mot. 1489).
a Set the camshaft pulley hub using the tool (Mot.
1430) (37) .
a
a Loosen the camshaft pulley hub bolts by one turn.

Note:
If the tool (Mot. 1430) does not engage correctly:
-loosen the camshaft pulley hub bolts by up to
one turn,
-turn the camshaft pulley hub using an 18mm
offset spanner to set the camshaft pulley hub,
-do not retighten the camshaft pulley hub bolts.
Note:
After the two turns, the adjustable index of the
tensioning roller may be in two different positions.
The rotation of the tension wheel eccentric
depends on the position.
