REMOVAL
OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Disconnect from the manual priming pump:
- the fuel supply pipe union (1) from the fuel filter out-
let,
- the fuel supply pipe union (2) at the inlet of the high
pressure pump.
a Fit the correct blanking plugs on:
- the fuel supply pipe opening at the outlet of the fuel
filter,
- the fuel supply pipe opening at the inlet of the high
pressure pump,
- the openings of the manual priming pump.
IMPORTANT
To avoid all risk of damage to the systems, apply
the safety and cleanliness instructions and opera-
tion recommendations before carrying out any
repair (see 13B, Diesel injection, Diesel injec-
tion: Precautions for repair, page 13B-1) .
WARNING
To avoid any corrosion or damage, protect the
areas on which fuel is likely to run.
WARNING
To prevent impurities from entering the circuit, place
protective plugs on all fuel circuit components
exposed to the open air.
WARNING
Keep the pipe unions away from contaminated
areas.
