Exhaust manifold - Intake distributor: Removal - Refitting

REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a parts always to be replaced: exhaust gas recir-
culation pipe bolt (11,07,01,18),
parts always to be replaced: Exhaust manifold
nut (10,07,02,08),
parts always to be replaced: intake distributor
stud on cylinder head (if loosened) (10,07,01,08),
a Always replace the seal of the "exhaust manifold -
inlet manifold".
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Apply some FRENETANCHE to the top of the cylin-
der head thread holes.
a Wipe any run-off after refitting the studs.
a Refit:
-a new seal on the exhaust manifold - inlet manifold,
-the exhaust manifold - inlet manifold.
a Torque tighten the exhaust manifold - inlet mani-
fold nuts (33 N.m).
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the lifting eye on the right-hand side.
a Torque tighten the bolts on the right-hand lifting
eye (25 N.m).
a Refit:
-the exhaust manifold heat shield,
-the turbocharger control solenoid valve,
-the bolts on the inlet manifold air inlet pipe.
a Torque tighten the inlet manifold air inlet pipe
bolts (25 N.m).
a Refit:
-the turbocharger (see 12B, Turbocharging, Tur-
bocharger: Removal - Refitting, page 12B-8) ,
-the lower engine tie-bar (see 19D, Engine moun-
ting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Refitting,
page 19D-33) ,
-the exhaust gas recirculation assembly (see 14A,
Antipollution, Exhaust gas recirculation as-
sembly: Removal - Refitting, page 14A-18) ,
-the turbocharger outlet exhaust gas duct (see 12B,
Turbocharging, Turbocharger outlet exhaust
gas duct: Removal - Refitting, page 12B-49) ,
- the intercooler air inlet pipe (see 12B, Turbochar-
ging, Intercooler air inlet pipe: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 12B-41) ,
- the scoop under the scuttle panel grille (see Scoop
under scuttle panel grille: Removal - Refitting)
(56A, Exterior equipment),
- the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:
Removal - Refitting) (56A, Exterior equipment),
-the windscreen wiper arms (see Windscreen wi-
