FUEL SUPPLY
Fuel filter: Removal - Refitting

Bleeding the circuit
a Fit a pipe to the injector rail fuel supply union.
a Push the pipe onto the injector rail fuel supply union.
a Prime the fuel supply circuit using the manual primi-
ng pump until fuel runs into the container.
III - DRAINING THE WATER INSIDE THE FUEL
FILTER
a Periodically drain any water contained inside the fuel
filter.
a For filters without a water presence sensor:
-open the drain plug,
-let the water flow out,
-close the plug.
a For filters with a water presence sensor:
-disconnect the water presence sensor offset con-
nector,
-unclip the water presense sensor connector,
-loosen the water presence sensor by one turn,
-let the water flow out,
-tighten the water presence sensor.
IV - FINAL OPERATION
a Check that there are no fuel leaks.
a Refit:
-the front section of the front right-hand wheel arch
liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Re-
fitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
-the front right-hand wheel (see Wheel: Removal -
Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres).
