EXHAUST
Exhaust fuel injector solenoid valve: Removal - Refitting

a Disconnect the lower union (4) of the fuel pipe of the
exhaust fuel injector solenoid valve.
a Remove the exhaust fuel injector solenoid valve.

CONCERNED
a Remove the blanking plugs.
a Connect the lower union of the fuel pipe of the ex-
haust fuel injector solenoid valve.
a Refit the exhaust fuel injector solenoid valve.
a Connect:
- the connector of the exhaust fuel injector solenoid
valve,
- the upper union of the fuel pipe of the exhaust fuel
injector solenoid valve.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the fuel temperature sensor (see 13B, Diesel in-
jection, Fuel temperature sensor: Removal -
Refitting, page 13B-118) ,
- the engine cover.
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) .

WARNING
To prevent impurities from entering the circuit,
place protective plugs on all fuel circuit compo-
nents exposed to the open air.
WARNING
Do not remove the blanking plugs from each
component until the last moment.
Also, do not remove the components from their
packaging until they are to be fitted to the vehi-
cle.
