4.6 Weber
Weber is a screening test generally used to check for unilateral hearing loss. The test is carried out by
placing the bone vibrator on the patient's forehead, sending the stimulus to a comfortable level and
asking the patient from which ear he perceives it. The test can be performed at different frequencies.
After placing the bone vibrator on the patient's forehead, select the desired stimulus and set a level that
is comfortable for the patient. Send the signal by pressing the SIGNAL button asking the patient which
ear hears the sound from. Press the corresponding button according to the answer: right ear, both
(center), left ear or not heard.
It is possible to perform the test at different frequencies and save the results.
