• Turn the key (SN) anticlockwise as far as it will go.
– The lock is opened, and the cover can be opened.
– The lock must be set to “lock” again in order to restart the machine.
6.8 Inserting the Grinding Jar
Wear or damage of the device
Operation without grinding set
− During operation of the device without grinding set, excessive wear or
damage to the device may occur.
• Operate the device only with a grinding set mounted.

A Retsch grinding set with volumes of 100 / 800 / 1000 and 2000 ml and standard steel /
hardened steel / stainless steel / tungsten carbide / silicon nitride and zirconium oxide materials
can be used in the RS 300
Adapter rings are needed for the volumes 100 / 800 and 1000 ml.
