2301 Transfer Current Adjustment
1st Side of Paper
B135: [20 ~ 100µA / 35 / 1µA step]
B138: [20 ~ 100µA / 45] / 1µA step]

Adjusts the transfer current for printing the first side of the paper (image area).
If the user uses thicker paper, the current may have to be increased to ensure
sufficient transfer of toner.
2nd Side of Paper
B135: [20 ~ 100µA / 35 / 1µA step]
B138: [20 ~ 100µA / 40] / 1µA step]

Adjusts the transfer current for printing the second side of the paper (image area).
Leading Edge
B135: [20 ~ 100µA / 35 / 1µA step]
B138: [20 ~ 100µA / 45] / 1µA step]

Adjusts the transfer current for copying at leading edge of the paper.
Increase the current to separate the paper from the drum properly in high humidity
and high temperature conditions.
Bypass Feed (45ppm)
B138: [20 ~ 100µA / 45 / 1µA step]
2301 4
Adjusts the transfer current for copying from the by-pass tray (image area) for the
B138 (45 cpm).
If the user normally feeds thicker paper from the bypass tray, use a higher setting.
Leading Edge Bypass Feed
(45ppm)
B138: [20 ~ 100µA / 60 / 1µA step]

Adjusts the transfer current for copying at the leading edge of paper fed from the
by-pass tray for the B138 (45 cpm).
Increase the current to separate the paper from the drum properly in high humidity
and high temperature conditions.

Adjusts the transfer current for copying from the by-pass tray (image area) for the
B135 (35 cpm).
