When “Remove Misfeed Z1:Duplex Unit”

A If the 2 tray finisher or the booklet finisher is installed, detach it from the
printer.

B Open the left cover of the duplex reversal unit, and then remove the mis-
fed paper. Do not pull the paper out forcefully.
If you cannot remove the paper, proceed to step
C
.
C Push up the lock release button of the duplex reversal unit, and then
hold it in place.
• The inside of the machine becomes very hot. Do not touch parts labelled
“hot surface”. Touching a “hot surface” could result in a burn.
