10. Pull up the ITB release lever.

11. Reconnect the power cord to the power source.
12. Turn the machine's main power switch to ON, close the left and right front
covers, and then wait for the machine to warm up.
13. Access the Adjustment Settings for Skilled Operators menu. (See p.18
"Accessing the Adjustment Settings for Skilled Operators".)
14. Reset the replaceable parts counter for the replaced charge roller unit and
cleaning unit for PCU. (See p.20 "Resetting the Replaceable Parts Counter".)
15. In the [Adjustment Settings for Skilled Operators] menu, do one of the following
according to the unit that has been replaced:
<After replacing the cleaning unit for PCU >
(1) Press [0301: Execute Cleaning Initial Setting], and then select the color of
the unit that has been replaced.
(2) Press [0302: Execute Process Initial Setting], and then select [All Colors].
<After replacing the charge roller unit >
Press [0302: Execute Process Initial Setting], and then select [All Colors].
<If the charge roller unit and cleaning unit for PCU are both replaced >
(1) Press [0301: Execute Cleaning Initial Setting], and then select the color of
the unit that has been replaced.
(2) Press [0302: Execute Process Initial Setting], and then select [All Colors].
16. Press [OK] and wait for the operation to finish.
This operation takes between one and two minutes during which time a
message appears on the control panel. Do not open the front covers while the
message is being displayed.
