4. Using the setting powder pad applicator, apply setting powder to the part of the
drum surface facing upward (the part that is visible) until it becomes speckled
with powder.

• The setting powder is an inert substance that is not harmful to the human
body.
5. Gently wipe the drum surface with a clean dry cloth to spread the setting
powder evenly.

6. Turn the drum gear up until the next untreated part of the drum surface
becomes visible.

7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 until you have applied setting powder to the entire drum
surface.
