1. Open the scanner.
2. Remove the operation panel [A] (2 con-
nectors, 3 screws - one of which is
grounded).

part that hangs down just above the
document feed-out area, and ease the
operation panel off over the manual
feed button.
Remove ground wire [B] (1 screw).
Take off the upper ADF guide plate [C] (1
screw [D]).
Remove brackets [E] and [F] (8 screws).
Ease out the separation roller assembly
[G].
