Taking a Photograph

Focus.
Frame your subject in the center of the picture
display and press the shutter-release button halfway
to set focus and exposure.

If the camera is able to focus, the
focus frames for the objects in
focus are displayed in green
(up to nine frames).
If the camera is unable to focus, the
focus frame blinks red and the
autofocus/ash lamp blinks
green.

Take a picture.
Gently press the shutter-release button the rest
of the way down to take the picture. The picture
is displayed immediately after shooting for a few
seconds (page 142), and saved to internal memory
or memory card.
