1. Open the tray 2 rear cover.

2. Pull out the jammed paper carefully.

If the paper cannot be removed, do not pull it out forcefully. Follow the procedure below to remove
the paper.
3. Close the tray 2 rear cover.
4. If the error status continues, remove the paper from tray 2 or inside the printer.
For the procedure to remove paper from the tray, see page 115 "Paper Misfeed Message (A) (E)".
For the procedure to remove paper from inside the printer, see page 117 "Paper Misfeed
Message (B) (Z)".
5. Open and then close the tray 2 rear cover.
The error status is canceled when you open and then close the rear cover.
