By attaching the tab fence, you can prevent air from leaking at the trailing edge of the paper and
improve separation.
For details about attaching the tab fence, see "Preparation" supplied with the machine.
Two-tray wide LCT is used.
The factory-set airflow of the wide LCT may not be strong enough to separate the sheets.
Increase the airflow.
1. Select [Machine: Paper Feed / Output] in [Advanced Settings] for the custom paper you are using,
select 1311: [2-Tray LCIT] and set [Paper Feed Mode:Fan Level] to [Prevent Double Feed (Weaker
Blow)].
2. If the problem persists, set [Paper Feed Mode:Fan Level] to [Prevent Double Feed (Weakest Blow)].
3. If the problem persists, select 1311: [2-Tray LCIT] and increase the value in [Blower Fan Level] by
10%.
4. If the problem persists, increase the value an additional 10% in [Blower Fan Level].
