identification numbers will be added if you check the box.
It is recommended to add identification numbers in order to search the printed copies for pages with
print defects.
[Leading edge]: The identification number is added at the leading edge of the printed paper.
[Trailing edge]: The identification number is added at the trailing edge of the printed paper.
A space of 2.7 mm (0.1 inches) is required for adding the ID Number. If the margins are set to the
default, a margin of 6.7 mm (0.3 inches) is required at either the top or the bottom.
• The margins required for adding identification numbers are as given below. The required margins
vary depending on whether or not detection for [Image Position Feedback Correction] is in effect.
Without detection marks
1. Margins (vertical): 4.0 mm (0.16 inches) by default
2. 2.7 mm (0.1 inches)
3. 1.0 mm (0.04 inches) (Space for printing inspection patterns)
4. Margins (horizontal): 2.0 mm (0.08 inches) by default
