Used Cartridge
A used print cartridge was installed.
Replace the print cartridge.
See page 194 "Replacing a Print Cartridge".
• If the cartridge is empty, head cleaning or flushing cannot be performed.
• Cartridges that are no longer usable for printing reserve a small quantity of ink for maintenance
usage. Make sure you do not install an empty print cartridge by mistake.
• Print cartridges should be used up before their expiry date, preferably within six months after its
package is opened.
Ink Collector Unit Not Detected
The ink collector unit is not attached correctly.
Attach the ink collector unit correctly.
