12. Lift the front end of the tray, and then carefully slide the tray into the printer until it stops.
13. If you pulled out the tray extension in step 9, cover the area of the tray that is exposed at
the rear of the printer by attaching the paper tray cover (supplied with the printer).
• You cannot load paper smaller than A4 , if the tray is extended. In this case, return the tray to its
standard length.
• Do not install the paper tray cover if the duplex unit is installed.

Attaching the Paper Tray Cover
Use the following procedure to attach the paper tray cover to the rear of the printer.
1. Attach two brackets to the rear of the printer.
