3.5.3 Heating/cooling/stand-by mode
SwitchingfromonemodetotheotherispossibleforallNXH/
NXC units but only the NXH versions can switch to heating
mode. There is also the possibility to automatically switch
fromcoolingtoheatingmode.
Thisisdecidedbytheexternalprobethatthroughtwopre-
setthresholdvalues(heatand coolthresholds) adjusts the
machine operation.
Beforeswitchingfromheatingtocoolingmode,theunitgo-
esrstinstandbymode;inthiscaseitiselectricallypowe-
redbutthecompressorisatastandstill.Thediagrambelow
showswhatsaidsofar.
Thetablebelowcompares,accordingtothemachinesta-
tusandcontroltype,theparametersthatmanagetheau-
tomatic Cooling/Heating/Standby switching according to
thedifferentmodes,whicharenamely:
• Localmode:Switchingismanagedfromtheunitcon-
trol panel.
• Contacts:Switchingismanagedthroughthecontacts.
Thecontrolmustbeoftheremotetype.
• HC_SEL:Switchingismanagedifthecontroltypeisofthe
CRNtype.
