Congure Tach Link
is function allows a technician to congure the PCM for compatibility with
two types of engine tachometers. Aer selecting this function the scan tool will
prompt the user to select either a System Link Tach or an Analog Tach. Please re-
fer to the tachometer’s installation instructions for further assistance on selecting
the correct setting.
Oil Pump Prime
is function commands the PCM to begin it’s two-stroke oil pump priming
sequence. Please refer to appropriate engine service documentation for the
recommended use of this PCM function.
Reset Break-in Oiling
is function resets the PCM’s engine break-in timer to provide increased oil
needed to break in a new or newly rebuilt engine. Please refer to appropriate
engine service documentation for the recommended use of this PCM function.
