"Intake and exhaust valve installation
Apply oil to the valve stems, and install the
valves securely by using the valve spring retain-
er and pliers. (See Fig.
3

.)
After their installation, check the tappet clear-
ance again.

Install the gasket and tappet cover.

Install breather plate and breather plate with gaskets.
NOTE:
Make sure

use the correct gaskets.
14) Cylinder head
Replace the head gasket with a new one.
NOTE:
The
edge- folded side
of
the gasket must face the cylinder head.

Clean the dust or
oil
from the tapered portion
of
the crankshaft and flywheel, and install the fly-
wheel.
NOTE:
Install the flywheel before the ignition coif.

Adjust the clearance (air gap) between the ignition coil and flywheel, and then tighten the ignition
