Maintenance
A maintenance message requires your
immediate attention. The meter may stop
working temporarily. Some examples:
• The batteries are empty.
• The test strip has expired.
• The meter may detect a problem when
performing a self-check.
Almost always you can x the problem by
following the instruction in the maintenance
message. You can insert new batteries or start
the test again with a new test strip. Or the
meter often xes a problem itself when you
power it off and on again.
1 Read the whole maintenance message
and the suggested action.
2 Press the Enter button
to conrm the
message.
3 Take the action suggested in the message.
Maintenance
Test strip has expired. Use a
valid test strip.
