THE AUTOMATIC PEDAL
( Only EUROPEAN Version)
The 525/535 European models are equipped with a useful function called "Automatic Pedal". This
function allows you to automatically adjust the sound volume
of
the "Pedal" section depending on
which manual you are playing. When the "Great
to
Pedal" coupler in ON, it
is
automatically set On
and
Off
depending on the manual that
is
actually in use. For example if you are playing ONLY on
the Swell manual and the
PA
function
is
on, then the coupler effect
is
disabled (the light remains
on). Playing the Great manual or both, then the coupler effect
is
enabled.

How
To Set The Automatic Pedal Function:
1.
Press and release the
PA
piston to set On and Off the Automatic Pedal function.
2.
The relative lamp will light indicating the status
of
the
PA
function.
CHIMES
( Only USA Version)
When the "CHIMES" piston
is
pressed (its indicator lamp lights), a polyphonic CHIMES sound
is
played on the GREAT manual. The state
of
the CHIMES piston
is
stored behind the registration
pistons. The appropriate MIDI Stop MAP message is transmitted when chimes is selected.
TEMPERAMENTS
Although most instruments today
"are
tuned in Equal Temperament system, there has recently been
a renewed interest in historic temperaments and their effect on the music written for organ
employing these temperaments: Equal, Kimberger, Werkmeister
I,
Werkmeister III, Mean-Tone,
Pythagorean, Young I and Young II.
Note: Temperaments other than Equal should be used with care since most other temperaments are
appropriate only for a limited range
of
music.
To
chose a temperament hold "0" and press one
of
the piston memory buttons from R
to
7
to
recall
the appropriate temperament.
R= Equal
1= Mean-Tone
2= Pythagorean
3= Kimberger
4= Werkmeister I
5= Werkmeister III
6= Young 1
7= Young 2
