Testing the Synthesizer Board

.B.: Synthesizers with part numbers 1145.xxxx or 1300.xxxx are no longer available. In case of
defect please contact the Central Service in Munich.
Synthesizer1
 Disconnect source cable at the reflectometer (1 to 4, depending on which synthesizer section is to
be tested).
 Connect the end of the source cable to the spectrum analyzer input via an adapter cable and
adapter SMA-N.
N.B.: Bend the source cable as little as possible, if necessary secure adapter cable with
adhesive tape.
 Set the frequencies listed in the table on the R&S ZVB and check the values.
