1 [VOLUME] knob
Adjusts the overall volume of the RD-800.
2 [REVERB] knob
Adjusts the amount of reverb.
3 [TONE COLOR] knob
Adjusts the tonal character or sonic image.
4 EQ/DELAY/ASSIGN
Function select button
Press this button repeatedly to cycle through EQ, DELAY, and ASSIGN.
[1] [2] [3] [4] knobs
Adjust the value of the selected function (EQ, DELAY, ASSIGN).
[5] button
Turns the selected function (EQ, DELAY) on/o.
Controls the selected function (ASSIGN).
5 MODULATION FX
[DEPTH] knob
Adjusts the depth of the modulation FX.
[RATE] knob
Adjusts the rate of the modulation FX.
[ON/OFF] button
Turns the eect on/o.
NOTE
For some modulation FX types, “DEPTH” and “RATE” will control dierent
things.

6 TREMOLO
[DEPTH] knob
Adjusts the depth of the tremolo eect.
[RATE] knob
Adjusts the rate of the tremolo eect.
[ON/OFF] button
Turns the eect on/o.
7 AMP SIM
[DRIVE] knob
Adjusts the amount of distortion.
[ON/OFF] button
Turns the eect on/o.
8 Layer
LAYER switch
Turns each LAYER’s sound on and o.
LAYER LEVEL sliders
Adjusts the volume level for each layer.
If the [MIDI CONTROL] button is lit, these sliders adjust the volume of each
external layer.

[MENU] button
Accesses the MENU screen. In the MENU screen, you can make overall
settings for the entire RD-800.
[MIDI CONTROL] button
Puts the RD-800 in control of the external MIDI sound generator.
[TRANSPOSE] button
Lets you transpose your performance.
