PRESET SECTION
Unlike the other Roland Boutique synthesizers, the SE-02 has four banks of 128 programmed presets and one
bank of 128 user presets. There’s a total of 640 patches (version 1.09 and up).
BANK A, B and C & D
Pre programmed patches are read only memory and cannot be overwitten. A, B and C bank are direct access
using corresponding button while D Bank is called by pressing 2 times Bank A button. “A” button will blink. Bank
D is available with V1.10 firmware and up.
USER BANK
Each of these 128 patch destinations have sounds in them, but they can be overwritten by the user to store 128
patches for later use, and exchange with other SE-02 users. Only 32 first sounds are fitted when shipped from factory.
MANUAL MODE
In order to listen to the current settings of the knobs on the panel of the SE-02 simply press the MANUAL button.
This will switch from whichever preset is currently selected to report the physical settings of the synthesizer. To
return to the presets select the bank, and desired patch number.
