8.1. Installation of the wiring harness
 Note: The connector assignment is shown fig. 30. Details on the assignment of cables and
pins are given in the wiring diagram.
 Connect pick up connector to pick up sensor (pos. 1).

 Connect starter with plug connector (pos. 2).
 Connect cable lugs (pos. 3) to the battery. Red to +, black to - !
 Attention: Do not interchange connection poles! This may lead to severe damages to the
electric or electronic components.
 Fasten the wiring harness to the upper side of the frame tubes using the delivered
cable ties.
 Attention: Strain relief of the plug connections must be ensured.
 Note: Compensate excessive length of wiring harness by routing cables in loops.
 Warning: The wiring harness must not touch moving parts of the track.
 Attention: Pay special attention to proper ground connection.
 Note: When unplugging connections on ignition pick up and ignition coil, press the
integrated catch first.
 Note: Disconnect any electrical plug connection only by pulling on the plugs.
