7. Install the roof ducts (Fig.3-74), remove the protective foil from the corrugated aluminium collar, adapt the collar to the
shape of the roof tiles and fix with adhesive (Fig. 3-75).
8. Tighten the ring nuts of the M glands for the pipes and cables (see Fig. 3-76).
9. Bend the connection pipes as necessary, mark the required length (Fig. 3-77) and cut off (Fig. 3-78).
10. Cut the enclosed insulating sleeves to the required length.
11. Push the insulating sleeve over the connection pipe and over the push-in fitting on the VA Solar pipe (Fig. 3-79).
12. Attach the push-in fitting to the solar panel connection and push the compressed insulating sleeve over the fitting until it
reaches the solar panel (Fig. 3-80).
CAUTION!
With special roof coverings, such as roof tiles with very pronounced undulations (large differences in height),
sealing problems can occur with the universal roof duct.
For these cases and also with plane tiles or slate roofing, a professional roofer should be consulted.
