AUTOMATIC DATE ROLLOVER

an automatic date rollover feature If you have chosen the programming option of having the date printed on
every transaction receipt
(See
page 19)
the
date
will
automatically change at 12 midnight In addition the register
is
pre programmed
with
a
permanent four year calendar The month
will
automatically change after the last day of each month taking
into
consideration the varying
number of days
in
each month
REMOVABLE DEPARTMENT KEYTOP COVERS
The department keys are designed
with
plastic
keytop
covers that are removable The keytop covers can be removed
in
order to access the
white inserts designating Departments 1 through 4
These inserts are designed so that they can be specifically labeled
with
individual department classifications (such as food general
merchandise service
etc)
Please note that the covers
fit
tightly on the keytops To remove the keytop covers firmly grasp the left and right sides of the key cover
with
your thumb and index finger and pull upwards Be careful not to let the paper label fall
into
the keyboard mechanism After labeling the
inserts as desired simply replace the keytop covers by snapping
into
place
