12. Adjust the rotating assembly as described in Section 4.3.3 Rotating Assembly Adjustment.
13. Adjust the mechanical seal. Refer to the seal manufacturer’s manual for further reference.
14. Tighten all the fasteners according to the values given in the Torque Value for Fasteners
Table.
NOTE: The mechanical seal shaft sleeve must not be secured to the shaft until the shaft has been
raised to the running position as described in Section 4.3.3 Rotating Assembly Adjustment.
