2.3.12 AC Power Supply (Optional)
The high voltage AC Power Supply is a conventional bridge rectified capacitor filtered circuit with
a nominal output of 100V for a 25 watt unit, 140V for a 50 watt unit, and 200V for a unit that is
100 watts or greater. The low voltage AC Power Supply is a conventional bridge rectified
capacitor filtered circuit and a 12V regulator. The diode isolated AC high voltage supply and the
isolated DC high voltage supply are paralleled and connected to the Modulator High Voltage
input for UPS operation. Similar connections are made with the 12V supplies so that if batteries
are used, power is not interrupted upon loss of AC.
