3.1.1 Communication
Serial interface
Theactuatorwithpositioneristtedwithan
RS-232 serial interface. This allows commu-
nication with TROVIS-VIEW using SSP proto-
col(seeFig.3-2).

Theactuatorwithpositioneriscongured
with the TROVIS-VIEW software. In this case,
the serial interface on the actuator is used to
connect the actuator to the computer. The
TROVIS-VIEW software enables the user to
easilycongurethepositioneraswellas
view process parameters online.
