5.4 Installing the control valve
into the pipeline
Î Install the valve into the pipeline accord-
ingthespecicationsinthemounting
and operating instructions of the valve.
Risk of actuator damage or malfunction
due to adverse weather conditions.
Î Do not install the actuator outdoors.
Degree of protection not achieved due to
incorrect mounting position.
Î Do not install the valve with the actuator
suspended downwards (see section5.1).
Risk of actuator damage due to direct
contact with steam.
Î During mounting, make sure that the
actuator cannot come into contact with
any steam.
