16.2 Position feedback signal
The position feedback indicates the position of the actuator stem.
The span of the position feedback signal is adjusted over the lower and upper range value
parameters.

16.3 Functions
16.3.1 Detect input signal failure
The positioner detects a failure of the input signal as soon as the value falls below the lower
rangevalueby0.3V.Aninputsignalfailureisindicatedinthe'Service'folder('Statistics')
as well as by the red LED:
− Input signal failure detected

The input signal failure can only be detected when at least 0.5V is set as the lower range
value.
If the Input signal failure function is active, the reaction of the actuator upon failure of the in-
put signal is determined by the Positioning value upon input signal failure parameter.
