Search by Name
You can search for a telephone number based on the names registered with
the phone.
1. Press the [Menu] button and use the direction buttons to select
Æ [1. Search] Æ [2. By Name]
Then, press the [Enter] button.
2. You are prompted to enter a name.
Enter the name or part of a name to
search for and press the [Enter]
button.

Should Know for how to enter characters.)
The speed dial name(s) matching the entry will be displayed.
z If you press the [Enter] button without entering a speed dial number,
a list of all the telephone numbers will be displayed.
3. Press the [Enter] button to view the saved details for the selected num-
ber.
z To change or delete the speed dial name, press the [Menu] button. When the
popup menu appears, select the desired menu (Edit / Delete / New Entry).
4. Move to the desired telephone number and press the [Send] button to
dial the number.
